This experience is designed with flexibility in mind. You have two choices for transportation:
1. Book our Transport Add-On: Relax and let us handle the driving. If you'd like to include private transportation for the day, make sure you check the optional add-on after choosing your date.
2. Come with Your Own Car: If you prefer to drive, we'll meet you at the starting point (see below) in Zaghouan. Crucial: For the drive from Zaghouan to Zriba Olia, you must have a free seat in your car for our local guide to join you. This is essential for the experience to flow smoothly.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes suitable for both cobblestone streets and a mountain trail.
We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and a camera. A light jacket is a good idea for the cooler evening temperatures after sunset.

Your day begins in the heart of Zaghouan, where you'll meet your local guide, a true keeper of the city's stories. You'll wander through the enchanting old medina, with its distinct Andalusian architecture, blue doors, and the gentle sound of ancient fountains.
Your local guide will lead you through winding cobblestone streets, unveiling the rich history of this town, famous for its pure spring water that once supplied the great city of Carthage.
➡️ Part 2: A Taste of Hospitality (approx. 1.5 hours)
After exploring the medina, we'll settle in for a delicious, traditional lunch with Aida, a beautiful and welcoming local guesthouse owner. Here, you'll get to taste authentic, home-cooked Tunisian cuisine in a cozy and charming setting.
It's the perfect moment to relax, reflect, and experience the warmth of true Tunisian hospitality.
➡️ Part 3: Journey to the Ghost Village (approx. 30 min drive)
With full bellies and happy hearts, we will make the short drive to our next destination: the incredible Berber village of Zriba Olia. As we approach, you'll see the stone ruins clinging dramatically to the side of the mountain—a breathtaking sight.
➡️ Part 4: The Sunset Hike (approx. 2 hours)
Joined by our local expert for the region, you'll begin your afternoon hike through the stunning, silent streets of this ghost village.
Your guide will share the stories of the people who once lived here, bringing the ancient stones to life.
We'll make our way to a perfect viewpoint to watch as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the mountains and the abandoned village below. It's a truly magical and moving end to the day.
