➡️ Stop 1: Meet Your Guide & Begin the Camel Ride
Arrive at the desert camp in late afternoon. Meet your guide, then set off on a camel-back ride across shifting dunes toward your campsite.
➡️ Stop 2: Camp Setup & Couscous Dinner
Help set up tents and learn wood-fire cooking as you prepare a hearty traditional couscous (If you want, of course!). Then, gather around the fire to share your meal with local hosts.
➡️ Stop 3: Campfire Stories Under the Stars
Relax by the flames. Listen to folk tales, sip sweet mint tea, and breathe in the absolute stillness of the desert night under a 5-billion star sky.
➡️ Stop 4: Sunrise Coffee & Fresh Bread

After meeting at a secure desert outpost near Douz, you’ll embark on a gentle camel ride at sunset, setting the mood for an authentic Berber camp experience. Participate in setting up your tent, cooking traditional couscous over an open flame, and sharing stories with locals. The night unfolds under an unrivaled canopy of stars, punctuated by mint tea and quiet reflection. At dawn, awaken to fresh coffee and bread, then explore the dunes before returning.

A magical birthday night in the Southern Sahara
One of my biggest wishes was to experience the Southern Sahara in Tunisia, and thanks to Wildyness I enjoyed a magical, unforgettable night celebrating my birthday with Dunes Insolites. The surprise they prepared was heart-warming. A big thank you to Arij and Sadok for making my trip to Tunis truly special.

Sunrise over the dunes at the edge of the Sahara
We travelled to the edge of the Sahara desert and stayed at a campground. We watched the sundown and the sunrise from the top of a dune, slept in a tent, and enjoyed a cultural program put on by locals with music, dancing and a horse show.

Meeting real nomads in the desert was my highlight
On our two-week trip we went from the sea to the desert. Wildyness made it possible for us to meet real nomads in the desert, which was my absolute highlight. The whole team did their best to make our wishes come true and organised a very diverse package.

A good desert night (modern tents)
This was definitely a highlight in our trip to Tunis. Everything went how it was described. Our guide Abd El Majid was such a nice professional guy. Maybe the only thing i can note is that the tent wasn't a traditional tent but more like a modern tent. Overall i would recommend it. WildyNess did a good job
