Hi, I'm Nayer

I’m a Local Guide in Southern Tunisia

I’m a local guide based in the south of Tunisia, with over 10 years of experience creating immersive, fair, and community-based travel experiences. My passion is to share the rich culture, landscapes, and traditions of my homeland through meaningful and responsible tourism.

I guide and accompany my guests with care and dedication, ensuring their satisfaction, comfort, and full immersion into local life.

One of the experiences I offer is a visit to the village of Essabria, an authentic place where time seems to stand still. In this quiet corner of southern Tunisia, you’ll meet local people, take part in traditional crafts and cooking, and explore breathtaking desert landscapes.

But discovering the South also means understanding the deep relationship we have with camels. More than just a means of transport, the camel is a life companion for the nomadic and rural communities of the desert. It symbolises patience, strength, and the ability to thrive in the harshest environments.

During our excursions, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about camel life, observe them up close, and understand their essential role in daily life and desert culture. We share a strong bond with these majestic animals they are a living symbol of our heritage and the spirit of the Sahara.

Through this experience, I invite you to travel respectfully and authentically, connecting deeply with the land, the people, and the desert soul of Tunisia.

Night in the desert

The experience was great I would just like a bit more communication from the people running the experience We were a bit confused as to what to bring and where to go and what to expect. But it was really cool

Overall we really enjoyed it.

The food was great, tents were warm, facilities very clean and beautiful desert. Our one issue was we never really knew the plans or how to book things like the camel ride or what was going on. Clearer instructions would have been nice.
