🟠 DAY 1 — Friday: Stories of the City
🕛 08h00:00 – Departure from Tunis (carpooling supported)
🚗 Meet-up point at La Marsa, El Menzah, or downtown.
Carpool coordination via WhatsApp group.
🕒 15:00 – Arrival in El Kef + café break with a view
First impressions from a panoramic rooftop café. We’ll recharge and start to feel the vibe.
👣 16:30 – Cultural Walking Tour: “The Story of El Kef”
Guided by a passionate local storyteller. Walk through ancient streets, discover Ottoman and Andalusian traces, and hear stories of Amazigh queens, Sufi mystics, and local revolutionaries. (Booking required, link shared in group)
🎭 18:30 – Sunset stroll & festival opening
Street parades, traditional music, and food stalls take over the old town. A magical evening of colours, sounds, and smells.
🏡 20:30 – Check-in at Dar Chennoufi
A countryside guesthouse is full of charm and tranquillity. Shared transport to and from the medina is provided.
🍷 21:30 – Optional fireside dinner & group reflection
Wind down with a homemade dinner (optional), and get to know your fellow travellers.
🔵 DAY 2 — Saturday: Culture & Nature Intertwined
🥐 08:00 – Breakfast at the guesthouse
Locally sourced food and seasonal products.
🚐 09:30 – Transfer to town center
🎙️ 10:00 – “Hkeya fi Hkeya” Cultural Tour
Legendary tales, love stories, and oral heritage of El Kef. This walk invites you to experience the myths and collective memories still alive in local minds. (Booking required)

🌿 14:30 – Guided Nature Walk: Fauna & Flora of El Kef
An easy hike with a local naturalist. Learn about regional plants, wildlife, and ecological traditions of the region. (Booking required)

Explore exhibitions, and music stages, or grab a seat at the open-air cinema.
