🔵🟠 Experience Flow

➡️ Departure: Time & Place

🔸We hit the road at 7:00 AM, leaving the capital behind as the sun begins to rise.

The journey toward Kabylia is peaceful and scenic, with winding roads, sleepy villages, and glimpses of the Atlas foothills hinting at the adventure ahead.

➡️ Stop 1: Timeghras: Where the Journey Begins

🔸 Nestled at the foot of the massif, Timeghras is a peaceful Kabyle village and our entry point into the wilderness.

Fringed by cedar trees and kissed by morning mist, it’s the perfect base to start our mountain ascent.

➡️ Stop 2: Walking the Thaltat Ridge & “Main des Juifs”

🔸 As we ascend, we follow the Thaltat circuit. It's known for its panoramic ridge lines and the hauntingly beautiful rock formation known as Main des Juifs (“The Hand of the Jews”), named for its mythic five-finger silhouette.

➡️ Stop 3: Explore Ifri Semdhene Cave

🔸 We venture into one of Djurdjura’s lesser-known gems: the Ifri Semdhene cave.

Stretching more than 750 meters deep, it’s an otherworldly space where silence reigns and underground wonders await.

➡️ Stop 4: Discover Aït Abdelali Village

🔸 Winding down from the highlands, we pass through the village of Aït Abdelali.

With its terracotta rooftops, olive groves, and handcrafted stone homes, it offers a rich glimpse into the rural Kabyle lifestyle.

➡️ Stop 5: Admire the Forest Trails & Panoramic Views

🔸 The loop takes us through cedar and oak forests, alive with birdsong and dappled light.

Expect breathtaking vistas of craggy peaks, alpine meadows, and the ever-changing moods of mountain weather.

➡️ Departure: Return to Algiers
