Meet Hakim at Hergla’s village square at your chosen start time. Head first to the Roman cemetery on the village outskirts, then walk back in to visit the historic mosque. Midday brings an authentic Tunisian lunch at a local family-run restaurant. Afterward, explore artisan workshops, where you’ll see pottery, weaving, and other crafts in action. Conclude back in the square by mid-afternoon, carrying fresh insights and flavors of Hergla’s hidden heritage.

A memorable walk through the old fishermen's village
Walked through the old fishermen's village with Hakim from @wildy.ness. He's the kind of guide who turns a half day walk into something you remember: how the village was built, what halfa grass weaving is, why the Roman ruins are still sitting at the edge of the sea. The ruins aren't protected yet, and there is still plenty left to excavate. You can walk right through them. Wildyness calls themselves "graveurs de souvenirs", engravers of memories. Fair description.
