Our journey begins not in a stuffy museum, but in a living one. After checking in, we’ll dive straight into a traditional Haneeth lunch, a slow-cooked delicacy that tells a story of patience and flavor.
We'll then wander through the villages of Al Gariya and Aal Yanfaa, where ancient mud homes built with distinctive "ragaf" stone layers stand as proud testaments to Asiri architecture.
As the afternoon light softens, we'll visit a sacred cave, home to rock art depicting the ancient goddess Al Alyaa.
Our day culminates at Fatma Gallery, a vibrant space celebrating the art of Asiri women, where you’ll get your first introduction to the geometric beauty of Al-Qatt painting.

Today, we ascend.
After breakfast, we’ll drive towards the clouds to Al Souda peak, standing at a breathtaking 3,000 meters.
The panoramic views from Abu Sarrah palace are simply unforgettable.
But the real magic happens when we connect with the land and its people. We'll visit a local strawberry farm perched on a cliff before being welcomed into a family home for a delicious, home-cooked meal.
In the afternoon, we’ll glide down the mountain by cable car into the valley of Rejal Almaa, a village of stunning stone towers.
Here, amidst homes adorned with Al-Qatt art, we’ll meet Hudaish, a local shepherd. As the sun begins to set, he’ll not only play his flute for us but also share its secrets in a personal workshop, a timeless melody that perfectly captures the soul of these mountains.

After a traditional lunch, we’ll head back to Abha to immerse ourselves in the city's creative heart.
We'll explore the vibrant Souq Al Thulathaa (Tuesday Market) before wandering through the charming Al Meftaha art district, where we'll have the chance to meet talented local artists in their element.
We'll end our day with a delicious dinner overlooking the city from the famed "Green Mountain."

Our farewell breakfast isn't at the hotel, but at a beautifully restored historic building—the old Abha police station, now converted into a restaurant serving incredible traditional food. It's the perfect setting to reflect on our journey through the painted kingdom.
After a final stroll through the charming old village, we'll head to the airport, hearts full and memories brimming with the art, culture, and warmth of Asir.
