Abdelkarim was very knowledgeable and a great person. He's been a guide for many years (since the late 1980's) and he does tours around the world. You can ask him deeper questions about Carthage and he'll be happy to share more. I watched a really nice overview before going and it helped me connect more deeply with what I was experiencing and gave great conversation topics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dbdVhVSat8. He has a lot of stamina, so you'll want to try to keep up (with the correct footwear) :-). To be fair, he asked if his walking was too fast multiple times, but we wanted to get some exercise. By nature, Ancient Roman Carthage is quite spread out. You'll take a taxi from the "colosseum" area to the baths. From the baths you'll typically walk to the ancient Carthaginian port, but you can also take a taxi. We would 100% recommend doing a tour with him.

Experienced a half-day Carthage Tour with Wildyness and was guided by Ahmed (Rabbit). Booking through Wildyness was easy and the team reached out quickly and was flexible to make adjustments around my last-minute booking. I enjoyed the tour with Ahmed who was super knowledgeable regarding the history around Carthage but also shared his tips and experiences regarding Tunis as well.

Walked through the old fishermen's village with Hakim from @wildy.ness. He's the kind of guide who turns a half day walk into something you remember: how the village was built, what halfa grass weaving is, why the Roman ruins are still sitting at the edge of the sea. The ruins aren't protected yet, and there is still plenty left to excavate. You can walk right through them. Wildyness calls themselves "graveurs de souvenirs", engravers of memories. Wildyness planned our 4-day tour across the southern end of Tunisia, including an overnight at Camp Zmela in the Sahara. We had a wonderful personal driver for the entire trip, and were met by local guides at each place we visited. All the guides were good, but Amor was outstanding! We were very pleased with our trip and recommend Wildyness for anyone traveling to this part of Tunisia.

It's a nice experience if you are interested in the topic for sure. The host were lovely and helpful and I really enjoyed my time.

Not only is Tunisia fabulous in every aspect imaginable but its people are the greatest gift this land has. As my guide Aziz said, “we are a mosaic” he is so right. We completed an 8 day trip through Tunisia organised by Wildyness. Spending a night in the desert was a first in our life and an exciting highlight. The trip was relaxing and insightful, with very knowledgeable and dedicated local guides along the way.

As part of our trip organised by Wildyness, we even learned how to cook delicious Tunisian food, and brought back some tins of Harissa to make our Ojja at home. A wonderful, hands-on cultural moment.
